Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on the details you shared that you are using a Samsung S25 with the Microsoft Teams mobile app, and the Class Notebook option is not available in your class team even though you can access the same Class Notebook on your updated laptop app. I truly understand and appreciate your effort in updating the app and sharing these details.
In many cases, this happens when the Class Notebook experience is not being surfaced for the signed in school account, for example because the Class Notebook app is hidden in the tenant settings or the account does not have the expected education licensing enabled. In addition, even when the entry point is not visible inside Teams mobile, you can still open and use the Class Notebook on your phone through OneNote or by using a direct notebook link.
Below are some alternative steps designed to address your situation effectively:
1/ Open the Class Notebook through OneNote on your phone
- On your phone, sign in at Office.com with the same school account you use on your laptop.
- Open OneNote, then select Class Notebooks and choose the notebook for the class.
- Select Open in OneNote so the notebook opens in the OneNote app and remains available there.
2/ Use a direct Class Notebook link to open it on the phone
- On a computer, sign in to Microsoft365.com with your school account, then open All apps and select Class Notebook.
- Select Manage notebooks, find the class notebook, and copy the notebook URL.
- On your phone, open the copied URL and choose to open it in OneNote when prompted.
3/ Ask your school IT admin to verify Class Notebook is enabled for your account
Since your account is managed by your school, please contact your IT administrator to review your permissions and policies.
- Confirm your account has an education faculty license that supports Class Notebook.
- In the SharePoint admin settings, confirm Class Notebook is set to Show, not hidden.
- After any changes, sign out of Teams on the phone, close the app, reopen it, and sign in again.
- If the issue persists after these checks, ask your IT administrator to submit a support request directly to Microsoft Support team.
- They can raise a support ticket by visiting: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
