    Hello @Selva Selvarajah,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry you’re running into this sign‑in issue. The message you’re seeing usually appears when an old or corrupted authentication token is still stored on the device. To refresh everything properly, could you please try the steps below?

First, please sign out of all Microsoft accounts. Make sure all Office apps are fully closed and not running in the background.

Next, open your Windows Credential Manager to remove any outdated credentials:

    • Press Windows Key + S, type Credential Manager, and open it
    • Go to Windows Credentials
    • Remove anything related to "Microsoft 365", "Office", or "OneDrive"

This kind of error is most common when a work/school account still has an outdated connection registered in Windows, so if you have such an account linked to your device, please disconnect it:

    • Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
    • Select the account and choose "Disconnect"
    • Restart your device and reconnect the account afterward

Once all of this is done, please try signing into OneDrive again and check if the issue is resolved. If the problem continues, please let me know, I’ll be happy to help you with the next steps.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

    Kind regards,

The error message you received indicates that there is an issue with the credentials being used, specifically that they are invalid. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as expired passwords or changes in your user account settings. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check Your Credentials: Ensure that you are using the correct username and password. If you have recently changed your password, make sure to update it in all applications that use it.
    2. Reset Your Password: If you suspect that your password may have expired or been compromised, consider resetting it.
    3. Connection Test: If possible, try connecting to the same machine using Remote Desktop with the same credentials to verify that they are valid.
    4. Account Status: Check if there are any issues with your account, such as being locked out or disabled.
    5. Contact Support: If the problem persists, you may need to contact your IT support or Microsoft support for further assistance.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the invalid credentials error you're experiencing.
