I keep getting a recurring bill of $10.59 cents and I can’t find any subscriptions I have! This is insane I canceled my Xbox ultimate membership because it’s too high and I quit using it.

    Hi mike ward,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A!

I understand how upsetting and confusing this is to see a recurring charge when you believe everything was canceled. First, let’s check out: How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft - Microsoft Support

Neil and the Q&A Assist have also given some ideas to help identify the source of the charges and maybe dispute it, so let me add some possible steps you can take now to minimize the impact and try to recover:

    • Attempt to remove your card from your Microsoft account:
      • If there’s an occurring subscription, it might tell you
      • This can at least stop more charges coming to your account.
    • Contact your bank/card provider and request investigation on the charges.
    • Reach out to billing support directly:
      • Visit Contact Us - Microsoft Support > Sign in
      • Type in your problem > click Get Help to make request
      • Scroll to the bottom and click Contact Support to connect to agent
      • Select category again > click Next and you should be added to a chat
      • You can use a similar billing issue if the chat was hard to reach. Just let the agent know so they can escalate to the right department.

Note: The support contact team only works at certain times, so if the last window shows that it's unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. This way, they can call you and help you.

I'm sorry for not being able to provide more direct help. Microsoft Q&A is just a user-to-user support forum, limited to providing guidance on technical issues. Unfortunately, payment and refund requests involve personal account data that we don’t have access to. I wish you the best of luck in resolving this with the appropriate support channels.

If you are being charged $10.59 repeatedly by Microsoft, it could be due to a few reasons:

    1. Recurring Subscription: Even if you believe you have canceled your Xbox Ultimate membership, there may be another subscription linked to your account that you are unaware of. It's important to check all subscriptions associated with your Microsoft account.
    2. Billing Frequency Changes: If you changed your billing frequency or settings, it might have affected your subscriptions and led to unexpected charges.
    3. Multiple Accounts: Sometimes users have multiple Microsoft accounts and may not realize that a subscription is active on a different account.

To resolve this issue, you should:

    • Log into your Microsoft account and check your subscriptions at account.microsoft.com/services.
    • If you cannot find any subscriptions or believe the charge is incorrect, consider contacting Microsoft Support for assistance in tracking down the charge and resolving it.
