Overcharged on MS 365 FAMILY first month. Yearly CDN rate was still at $109 year (w/tax $122.08yr) on Jan. 7-Feb 7 2026 which would have been about $10.17cdn month incl tax. However, was charged at $145 year (w/tax $162.40yr) which was not in effect until Feb. 14 2026. As a result I was overcharged at $16.25 month incl tax. Setup plan as monthly so cancelled subscription first then shifted to monthly and it advised of new rates to come Feb. 14, 2026. First month did not fall into that period (Jan. 7-Feb 7 2026), so I am owed a refund of $6.08 for the first month. How many millions of us are being overcharged like this with the rate hike for 1 or more months? My monthly breakdown CDN cost was $14.50 + .73GST + $1.02PST - $16.25. Should have been charged at the old rate 0f $10.17cdn incl tax for the first month. Tried calling in AI ASSIST suggested "Microsoft 365 does not have a published email address for customer service. For billing issues, it's recommended to call their customer service at 1-800-642-7676 or use the support options available through your Microsoft 365 account." but after choosing BILLING and REFUND it told me to contact AKA.MS/RFND and that did not work as the login box just kept spitting me out every time I tried to sign in, it just disappeared and I was back on the same page again. So ended up at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/edit/5789015 and it also kept spitting me out every time I tried to sign in and I was back on the same page as though I never signed in at all. Sot tried to call the number above again, but now it automatically chose REFUND for me, then repeated the same message and hung up on me. SO F*$#%ing FRUSTRATING - NEED A REAL HUMAN TO TALK TO as STILL NO RESOLUTION 45 mins later. OMG!!!

It seems you are experiencing an issue with being overcharged for your Microsoft 365 subscription. Based on the information provided, it appears that you were charged at a higher rate than expected for the first month of your subscription, which should have been billed at the old rate of $10.17 CAD including tax.

To resolve this issue, I recommend contacting Microsoft Billing Support directly. They can assist you with reviewing your account and processing any necessary refunds. You can reach them through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or by visiting the Microsoft support website. Here are the general steps to contact support:

    1. Log into admin.microsoft.com with your admin credentials.
    2. Select the help & support button at the bottom right of the admin center dashboard.
    3. Type in your issue and follow the prompts to contact support.

This will ensure that your billing issue is addressed properly.
