EXAM DISCOUNT VOUCHER

Question

I attended the virtual training session. The email i used was my personal google account for registration and attending the session by microsoft on Feb 24 & 25 for Az900

I have not received my voucher for exam in any format including email.

Few sources online say that i need to login using my account but that cannot be done because MS wont let me sign in using a non microsoft account.
How can i avail the voucher and schedule the exam.

The discount is applied to the Learn profile for the email address used to register for the event. The discount is automatically applied at the final stage of checkout. The voucher will be applied five business days after the event. The voucher cannot be transferred to another Learn profile.

For Virtual Training Day–based exam discounts, the discount is not always sent as a separate voucher email. Instead, it is usually attached to the email address used to register for the event and appears automatically during exam registration once it has been processed.

1. Processing time after the event
   • The discount can take around 5 business days after the training day session(s) to be added to the profile associated with the event email.
2. Which email to use
   • For Microsoft Virtual Training Day – Azure Fundamentals, the email that must be used to check for eligible discounts is the same email used to register for the event (in this case, the personal Google address).
   • When claiming the discount, always enter that same event-registration email on the Exam Discounts page.
3. How to claim the discount once it is available
   After waiting the required processing time:
   1. Go to the AZ‑900 exam page and select Schedule exam.
   2. Sign in with a Microsoft account to create or access a Microsoft Certification/Learn profile. (A Microsoft account is required for certification; the Google email itself cannot be used to sign in directly, but the Google address can still be used later as the “event email” for discount lookup.)
   3. Confirm the Certification Profile details and select Save & continue to reach the Exam Discounts page.
   4. On the Exam Discounts page, enter the email address used to register for the Virtual Training Day (the personal Google address).
   5. A verification code will be sent to that Google address. Enter the passcode to verify.
   6. When prompted, agree to link the accounts so the discount can be applied.
   7. After successful linking, any eligible discount will appear; select it and continue to checkout. The discount will be applied during the Pearson VUE checkout process.
4. If no discount appears yet
   • If the event ended recently, wait up to about 5 business days for the discount to be attached to the event email.
   • After that time, repeat the steps above to check the Exam Discounts page using the event-registration email.
