    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear OneDrive’s giving you trouble. Usually, this kind of error pops up because of a temporary service glitch or some messed-up sign-in data.

Let’s try a few quick things:

    • Check Microsoft’s service status. Head to the Microsoft 365 Service Health page (or ask your admin) to see if there’s an outage with OneDrive or Microsoft 365.
    • Try signing in using a private browser window. Open an Incognito or Private tab and go to OneDrive.com. If you still see “Something went wrong,” it’s probably something to do with your account.

If OneDrive works on the web but not in the app, you’ll want to reset the app and clear out any cached sign-in data:

    For Windows – Reset OneDrive:

    1. Hit Win + R
    2. Paste this: %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
    3. Press Enter
    4. If that doesn’t work, try: C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset
    5. Restart OneDrive

For Windows – Clear sign-in cache:

    1. Close all Office apps and OneDrive
    2. Go to: %localappdata%\Microsoft\
    3. Delete the IdentityCache and OneAuth folders
    4. Restart your computer, then sign in again
    • For Mac – Reset OneDrive:
    1. Open Applications
    2. Right-click Microsoft OneDrive and choose “Show Package Contents”
    3. Go to Contents > Resources
    4. Double-click ResetOneDriveApp.command
    5. Sign in again when it’s done

A quick note about 503 errors: this usually just means OneDrive’s temporarily down for maintenance or there’s too much traffic. If those resets above don’t do the trick, sometimes you just have to wait it out.

Let me know how it goes or if you need any more help.
