Html doesn't match Bookings page title

Hi there,

I designed a Bookings page that is intended to be used by our customers so that they can schedule meetings directly with a member of our QAI team.

Even though the Bookings page itself is titled "QAI Team Availability," the actual html that was generated to share with our customers is: [Moderator note: personal info removed]

Is there a way to fix this so that the html matches the page? Or do I have to create a whole new Bookings page from scratch?

Thanks!

    Dear @LB,

Good day. Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I am happy to help you!

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced. I truly appreciate your patience during this time and thank you for bearing with us.

For better assist, please kindly let me know some information:

    • Does the incorrect link behavior happen only for you, or also for teammates or customers?
    • Is your booking page a Shared booking page or a Personal bookings page?
    • Have you encountered this issue before? Are there any other users in your organization experiencing the same issue?

Based on your description, I tested this scenario in my environment by creating a shared Bookings page, but I was not able to reproduce the issue.

In the meantime, here are some recommended steps I suggest you try (If you use Shared Booking Pages):

    1. Republish the booking page to refresh its display name and URL mapping.
    2. Go to Bookings > Booking page > Unpublish > Save > Publish > Save.
    3. Copy the link again after republishing and ensure it shows the correct name in the URL.

For reference, please refer to: Customize and publish your booking page

Moreover, could you please create a new Booking page and check if the issue still occurs?

    • Go to Bookings > Create a new booking page.
    • Name it something simple like “QAI Team Availability”.
    • Publish the page and copy the new link.
    • Check whether the hover text, page title, and URL all display correctly.

Note: Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

I hope this helps! Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated. Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day!

    Looking forward to your response!

The public booking-page URL in Microsoft Bookings is generated from the underlying mailbox (for example, the shared mailbox or user address) and does not change to match the display title of the page such as “QAI Team Availability.” The title controls what customers see on the page and in notifications, but not the structure of the HTML/URL.

    Bookings allows customization of:

    • The booking page title and description
    • Business information (name, address, phone, logo, business hours)
    • Services, staff, and availability

However, the context only documents customization of the visible booking page and business information, not any option to rename or customize the URL itself. There is no supported setting described to make the URL text match the page title.

Creating a new booking page would generate a different URL, but it would still be based on the associated mailbox identity rather than the friendly title, so it would not solve the underlying concern about the URL text.

    The practical approach is:

    1. Keep using the existing booking page.
    2. Ensure the page title and business information clearly show “QAI Team Availability” and your organization details so customers see the correct branding once they open the link.
    3. Share the link behind descriptive text (for example, in email or on a website) so customers click “Schedule with the QAI Team” rather than seeing the raw URL.
