So I was being stupid, trying to dual boot windows 11 and windows 8.1 (Parent OS is Win11), and I got stuck at trying to copy boot files. So I watched a few tutorials, and had to enter recovery mode and enter some bootrec commands. Long story short, I clicked "Boot to PC" too early, and now I'm forever stuck on a BSOD. (I can access BIOS, my SSD is seen as Windows Boot Manager, and I can access my boot order.) Only issue is that I CANNOT access the recovery options. I click F1, it just goes back to the BSOD. I try to power and hold it off, but the PC can't get to the spinning dots you're supposed to hold at before it blue screens. I have about 800GB of data on there, and I'm worried for my life. HELP!

    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Since you can not access Recovery, create a bootable USB of Windows 11 with a working PC and boot your computer with the USB:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

On the installation window, click on repair >Windows Troubleshooting > Advanced Options:

    A-Startup repair.

B-If you have a system restore point, perform a system restore.

C-Click on Command Prompt > Type this command and hit enter:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:

    sfc /scannow

    Also try boot repair commands:

    bootrec /scanos

    bootrec /fixmbr

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

Once it finishes, type this command and hit enter:

chkdsk X: /f /r (Replace X with your system drive letter, which is usually C)

You can find more troubleshooting steps in the link below, as well as steps for rescuing your data before going through the clean install process:
