    Hi KING BOSS

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Forum!

I know how frustrating this is, especially when you’re trying a webcam for the first time and it immediately causes multiple things to break. You did the right thing by troubleshooting already, and what you’re seeing is a known Windows 11 behavior with this specific webcam, not a mistake on your part.

Please go ahead and disable only the webcam’s audio component (not the camera)

This keeps video working while preventing audio crashes.

    1. Plug in the C920
    2. Press Win + X and open Device Manager
    3. Expand Sound, video and game controllers
    4. Find HD Pro Webcam C920
    5. Right‑click it and choose Disable device This disables the webcam microphone only
    6. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter
    7. Find Windows Audio
    8. Right‑click Windows Audio and choose Restart

Hope this helps. Feel free to update here if anything come up.
