I had nothing showing on the "sheet tabs" line, but I had managed to fix my problem by doing the following. On the very top of the page is a line showing "auto save", "undo-redo" etc and a "V" with a dash above it. I clicked on it, then I clicked on "more commands", selected "advanced" and scrolled down twice. There was a heading showing "Display options for this workbook" and I clicked on "show sheet tabs" which was blank. This returned all the sheet tabs.

somehow, I have deleted or hidden all the page tabs on a spread sheet. How do I get them to show again.

Right click the new sheet tab and click 'Select All sheets'
Then right click that sheet tab and select 'Unhide' are you then able to select a sheet from the list to unhide the sheet?
