MCP ID/MC IDs have not been used since the merger of Certification profiles and Learn profiles in 2024. Your Learn username is now your unique ID.

Do you mean MS ID? This is used by Pearson Vue and the easiest way to get this is to start with an exam on your Learn profile https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/credentials/?tab=credentials-tab and select View details on provider site https://learn.microsoft.com/credentials/certifications/schedule-through-pearson-vue?action=1 expand the navigation bar and it will at the top-left of the screen

The Microsoft ID needed for booking a certification exam by phone is the same account used on the Microsoft Learn profile and certification dashboard.

To find it and confirm the correct account for exam booking:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile that is used for certifications.
    2. Open the credentials area to confirm existing or scheduled exams:
    3. Use this same Microsoft account (email/ID shown there) when contacting the exam provider call center (Pearson VUE or Certiport) to book the exam.

If there are issues identifying the correct account or booking via call center, contact certification support through the Microsoft Credentials Support / Learning channel described in the Q&A references, or Pearson VUE support if the account is blocked.
