Why does Windows keep making the taskbar so small? I can't even make it out. I have to scale my settings all the way up to 200% and I can still barely see anything (and no I don't have make the taskbar even smaller checked). I just need to make the taskbar like double the size and I would finally be able to use a computer normally again. I don't know why this feature was never restored after it got lost in the Windows 11 update. Currently I don't wear glasses, but I do have to hold a magnifying glass up to the screen so I can see which taskbar icon is which.

The taskbar in Windows 11 is not very configurable, there are very few settings available to adjust it, but there are more improvements coming to the Taskbar in Windows 11, including the ability to move the taskbar in future updates.

If you have a high resolution screen, that may make the taskbar appear very small and if so, either changing the Scale or Resolution on the screen is the only option available.

There is one more setting to check, open the Settings App, then go to Personalization - Taskbar.

    Expand the 'Taskbar Behaviours' section.

Ensure this setting is disabled - 'Show smaller taskbar buttons'.
