Hello,
in previous years, working with different monitors with varying DPI worked like a charm. Windows just detected which monitor was connected and applied an appropriate scaling. If I changed the scaling, Windows remembered the setting for the particular monitor that was connected. That was great.
Since a couple of months, that no longer works. The new Windows 11 scaling settings are a big pain. Every time I switch monitors (e.g. use my laptop monitor instead of my desktop monitor), I have to adjust the DPI settings and sign off and on again. It is a nightmare, particularly if you are rushing from your desk into a meeting.
Can I somehow restore the previous way Windows handled DPI settings?
Regards,
Fabian

Finally found the answer. You need to click on the monitor in the settings. Afterwards, the settings switch to the monitor-specific ones. A little bit embarrassing that the solution was that simple 🙈
