My Mom passed away and we need to access her email account

My Mom passed away last year and we need to access her email account for documents and to help with managing her assets. Does anyone know how we can go about accessing this?

It just says too many password attempts but the password being used is the one saved in her phone.

I am sorry for your loss, this forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, accessing someone's account after they have passed away is very complex, Microsoft take account security very seriously and accessing the account is basically a legal process that must be entered into, they provide that information on this lnk.
