Are you seeing ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK in the URL when you try and schedule the exam?

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK is typically because your account has been blocked by Pearson Vue which normally happens because of multiple failed payments. You need to contact Pearson Vue support using the link on https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to get the block lifted.

The error when clicking Submit during exam scheduling is commonly caused by an issue on the exam provider side (Pearson VUE) or a problem with the Microsoft certification/commerce flow.

    Based on similar reported cases:

    1. If the error text mentions ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK or is an “unexpected error” at the final step:
      • This typically indicates the Pearson VUE account is blocked, often due to multiple failed payment attempts.
      • Use the support contact path at https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport to reach Pearson VUE/Microsoft Certification Support and request that the block be checked and lifted.
    2. If the page simply shows an “unexpected error” and does not complete the booking or voucher purchase:
    3. After support confirms the issue is resolved, retry scheduling:
      • Start the exam scheduling flow again from the Microsoft Learn exam page.
      • Proceed through the Pearson VUE screens and, if using a free-offer/voucher, verify on the checkout page that the total due is $0.00 before submitting the order.

If the error persists after these steps, continue working with Certification Support via the same support links until the appointment can be created successfully.
