I have a ms-365 personal account and my wife has a ms-365 family account with one user (herself). I understand I cannot merge the accounts. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to delete the personal account on my computer and then add myself to the the family account on her computer. The objective is to save money. Currently I am paying for the family account and the personal account.

To switch from the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, you first need to cancel the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription on your Microsoft account on this link:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

Then, your wife can use the process provided on this link to share the Microsoft 365 Family subscription with you, you can then use the link your wife sends to you to install Microsoft 365 using your own Microsoft account you previously used for the Personal subscription.

Using this method, you will not lose access to your files or the 1TB of OneDrive storage you previously had on the Personal Microsoft 365 subscription.
