Why is there no "Hide Deletions" feature in Word Online - Review Mode?

When opening up Microsoft online review mode, I can not hide deletions so there is a strikethrough on all deleted text. When there are multiple people editing a document, this becomes cumbersome and adds confusion because no one wants to see strikethrough text. The only solution as of now is to force them to open it up on Word desktop - which defeats the purpose of having Word online.

I can not find a solution via Power Automate nor any other script. Is this being worked or does someone have a trick to it?

To make a suggestion that Word for the web should work differently, please choose Help>Feedback>Make a suggestion. Post your idea, then others can vote on it. Microsoft uses this feedback to prioritize their programming.
