Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
For changing or correcting billing/shipping details on an existing Microsoft 365 order and getting an invoice with the correct address, direct assistance from Microsoft Support is required, because self-service options are limited once the order is completed.
Use one of these options:
- If this is a business subscription and there is access to the Microsoft 365 admin center:
- Sign in to the admin center with an admin account.
- Create a billing/support request for the subscription, explaining that the invoice shows the old address and that the account profile has already been updated.
- Ask support to regenerate or correct the invoice with the updated address.
- If there is no admin center access or this is a personal subscription:
- Go to the Microsoft Support contact page (general support entry point).
- Choose the product area for Microsoft 365/Office and billing/subscription.
- Use the “Get Help”/chat or callback option.
- Provide the order number, the incorrect address shown on the invoice, and the correct address now on the account, and request an updated invoice.
If the invoice cannot be edited for that specific order, support can advise on acceptable documentation (for example, proof that the account address has been updated) or alternative options.
