For Microsoft Store: Whenever I click install, a dialogue box pops up "Try again later, Something happened on our end". This happens consistently. Since I don't usually use microsoft store, I don't know whether the issue was there since the beginning but I first noticed it like a month ago.

For The search bar: The popup window opens, tries to load, and then closes

    In this case, I suggest you perform an In-place Upgrade. This procedure reinstalls Windows, which helps to fix problems.

    It's a simple procedure, and you have the option to keep files, settings, and apps. Therefore, all your data is kept.

    Download the ISO file to perform the procedure:

    1. Access the link below and click "Download now" to download the Media Creation Tool.

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10

    1. Run the tool and click "Accept" to accept the terms;
    2. Select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC" and click "Next";
    3. In the "Select language, architecture, and edition" step, leave the "Use the recommended options for this PC" box checked and click "Next";
    4. In the "Choose which media to use" step, select "ISO file", click "Next", select where to save, and click "Save".

    After downloading the ISO, do the following:

    1. Double-click the ISO file to run it.

    (After running the ISO, you may need to double-click the "Setup" file to start the procedure.)

    1. On the "Install Windows 10" screen, uncheck "I want to help make the installation of Windows better" and select "Change how Windows Setup download updates";
    2. On the next screen, select "Not right now" and click "Next";
    3. Accept the terms of use;
    4. At the "Ready to install" screen, select "Choose what to keep" and select what you want to keep.

    (In this step, select "Keep personal files and apps" so all your data is kept.)

    1. Click "Install" and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

    Once the procedure is done, check if the Microsoft Store and Search Bar will work as expected.

    If you get any errors, please let me know.

    Thanks for the clarification.

    No, I have not enrolled my system in ESU

    This may not be the cause of the problems you're experiencing, but it will certainly leave you out of security updates and updates that would fix specific bugs.

    Since you are experiencing problems in more than one area of the system, my suspicions fall on system file corruption.

    I suggest you use the system file checker to repair possible corrupted system files.

    1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
    2. Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup
    sfc /scannow

    Note: Pay close attention to the results of the commands. This will help you determine whether the procedure was completed successfully or if there was a problem. If you get any errors, let me know the error message that was displayed.

    1. Restart (not shutdown) the PC and see if the problems are resolved.

    If it persists, re-register the native Windows apps. (Close all Windows apps)

    1. Press "Windows + X" and select "Windows PowerShell (Admin)";
    2. Type or paste the following command and press Enter:
    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Note: Several red warnings may appear when running this command. Ignore them. It's normal.

    1. Wait for the procedure to finish, restart (not shutdown) the PC, and see if the problems are resolved.

    If the problems persist, please let me know, and I will provide another method.

    Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    The two problems may be linked, so fixing one may also fix the other. Since your priority is the Microsoft Store, I'll focus on that first, okay?

    Please clarify the following:

    Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If yes, which one?

    Also. What is the version and "OS Build" of your Windows 11?

    • Press "Windows + R", type winver, and click OK.

    If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

    Be sure to censor your email address if it appears. The Microsoft Q&A is public.

    I await your reply.
