All my files in microsoft works disappeared, how do I get them back?

Are you certain that the files are from Microsoft Works, and not from Microsoft Word? They are very different programs. Microsoft Works was last released in 2007, and support for it ended in 2012. Works created .wps files, while Word creates .doc or .docx files by default; these are very different formats. Please clarify what kind of files you're looking for.

Hi, happy to help.

Can you please check the folder where they were saved, look in the Recycle Bin, and search your PC for .wps files. If you used OneDrive, check Recent files and the OneDrive recycle bin. Restore from backup if available. Microsoft cannot recover files that were never saved or permanently deleted outside OneDrive or a backup.
