need to change the email attached to my purchase of office home and business 2024

I had to quit 0ffice 365 and purchase office 2024. I could not use my current email because of the error that I had to use a different account. now my outlook is messed up. I would like to reassign the email attached to my purchase so I can get my mail.

Microsoft does not allow changing or transferring the Microsoft account after Office 2024 is redeemed. The license stays permanently tied to the account used during activation, as stated on the Microsoft support site. To fix Outlook, sign in to Office with the same Microsoft account used for activation, then add your email inside Outlook under File, Account Settings, Add Account. You can check which account holds the license at account.microsoft.com/services under Services and Subscriptions.
