Hi Trish. What exact error message do you see when you try to send the document?
In Microsoft 365 on Windows, this usually happens when Outlook is not set as the default email app, Outlook is not signed in or connected, or the file size is too large. Word uses Outlook to send email. If Outlook is not working correctly, Word will fail to send and show an error such as “General mail failure” or “MAPI error.” Please open Outlook and send a normal test email first. If that fails, the issue is with Outlook, not Word.
