How do I format a Word document to use Tab as a bulleted template next level?

In order to indent a bullet formatted Word document, I am having to use the Indent feature on the toolbar. I would like to be able to use Tab to apply the advanced bullet indent. Is this possible?

    You can do this if you set up a multilevel list style. Here is Shauna Kelly's classic article on how to do this. How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in Word

    She set up a multilevel list with numbers, but you can set it up with bullets by scrolling down the Number style for this level dropdown and choosing a bullet style:
