    Hello

I saw you used the MacOS tag for your question.

If your free trial is via Microsoft website directly, you can use the AI Answer above. Cancel first, then contact support. I will give you more specific steps to contact support:

Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

However, if it is from MacOS App Store, you need to request it from Apple, not Microsoft, because the payment processed via Apple.

    Microsoft explains it here:

Apple's refund request instruction is here: https://support.apple.com/118223

To get the $109.74 charge refunded, cancel the subscription first and then check refund eligibility for that Microsoft 365 subscription.

    1. Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page for Microsoft 365: https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the trial.
    2. Find the Microsoft 365 subscription and select Manage.
    3. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, then choose Cancel).
      • If you see Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage/Cancel, the subscription is already set to expire and won’t be charged again.
    4. After cancellation, refund eligibility depends on region and timing. For consumer Microsoft 365 subscriptions, refunds are handled through the Microsoft subscription refund process described in the refund article. Not all cancellations result in a refund.
    5. If the charge is not recognized as part of the expected trial or subscription, go to the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard and use Investigate on the charge to confirm what it was for and follow the guided steps.
    6. If still needing help or if the self-service options do not grant a refund, contact Microsoft Support via the billing/contact paths in the refund and billing articles and request a refund review for that transaction.

If the subscription was started through Apple’s App Store or Google Play instead of directly with Microsoft, cancellation and refund must be requested from Apple or Google using their respective refund processes.
