Whenever I try shutting it down, it stays on the shutting down screen with the spinning circle and nothing else happens and I have to manually shutdown with the button so that it closes, I tried running sfc /scannow but it said there were no problems, is there something else to do or could this be a hardware issue?

When did the shutdown issue first start occurring?
If a system restore point is available, please try performing a System Restore and check whether the PC can shut down normally afterward.

Hiii um, so it was user error, i just remembered i edited smth in the registry editor, HungAppTimeout i set it to a really huge number cuz i was having issues with zoom randomly saying it wasnt responding and saw on the internet that if HungAppTimeout was more than the default 5 seconds, this would probably stop happening, but it looks like it messed with shutdowns ig? im not really sure, i just deleted what i did and now its working, thank you for your help!
