what do i do now i have a lot of important files in my one drive about 1000 this is an account older than 5 years old please help and microsoft refuses to do anything at all because of their policies or whatever i have tried escalation form recovery form it just says my account doesnt exist or that they cant do anything what can i do
I wish I had better news, but when a Microsoft account is hacked, if the hackers change the associated Email, then that account is usually no longer recoverable, this forum is just a user to user account and no-one here has any account access, try using the process they provide on this link to recover a hacked account, if this process is not successful, sadly, that account cannot be recovered.
Just checking with you were you able to recover your account using that process.
No I wasnt able to recover using that process but i submited another escalation form with more clearer answers my saved password and credit card is on there with memories of photos
Okay, I hope that new form is successful in recovering your account, sadly it is only an automated process that is available to recover a hacked account.
The escalation form isnt answered by real people? why does it take a few days for a response? Is the xbox support live rep chats even real?
just asking but HAS anyone ever got their account back even when the hacker has full access and you dont have controll over that account anymore? because it is a 12 year old account and i already miss it
If that form was unsuccessful, most likely your account cannot be recovered, you can try to find a local support number for their support, but honestly, they will just refer you to the account recovery form.
In that case, they must have found the account was no longer recoverable, they do that to block the hacker using the account.
