I purchased SweetHome3d from the Microsoft Store in 2025 but suddenly the app keeps nagging me No purchase to restore, so wants me to pay 19.99 a month to use the app I purchased. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, uninstalling, re-installing from the Microsoft store, uninstalling again, rebooting again, reinstalling again, but nothing works! I need this fixed NOW. How do I get this fixed???????????????????????

Follow these steps to resolve the “No purchase to restore” problem for a Microsoft Store app:

    1. Confirm the purchase is tied to the correct Microsoft account
      • Go to Order history.
      • Verify that the SweetHome3D purchase appears under the account currently signed in to Windows and Microsoft Store.
      • If the purchase is under a different account, sign out of the Store and sign back in with the account that owns the purchase.
    2. Reinstall from Order history instead of searching in Store
      • In Order history, locate SweetHome3D.
      • If you see Install, select it to start download and installation.
      • If you don’t see Install, select the product name to open its Store page; if the button that was Buy now shows Install, select it to install.
    3. Reset the Microsoft Store app
      • Press Windows key + R to open Run.
      • Enter wsreset.exe and select OK.
      • A blank Command Prompt window opens and closes after about 10 seconds, then Microsoft Store opens automatically.
      • After this, open Store → Library and try updating/reinstalling SweetHome3D again.
    4. Check common reasons an app cannot be installed or recognized
      • Ensure the PC is signed in with the Microsoft account that owns the app and is listed as a device for that account. See Manage your devices for Microsoft Store.
      • Restart the PC if Windows updates were recently installed.
      • Verify the app is still available in the Store for the current country/region and compatible with the device.
    5. If the purchase still is not recognized
      • Use the Microsoft Store “Troubleshoot buying issues” flow to check for account or billing problems that might block license validation, even for already-purchased apps.
      • If the charge appears correctly in Order history but the app still demands a new subscription, contact Microsoft Support via the guided support troubleshooter from the buying-issues article so they can review the Store license for the app and the account.

These steps ensure the license is correctly associated with the Microsoft account and that the Store cache and app metadata are refreshed, which typically resolves “No purchase to restore” and missing-install-option issues.
