I tried your suggestion and it did not work. The update gets to 100% when I restart upon request, I get a 'failed to update' message

    Hello,

I recommend to perform clean boot and then:

Download Windows 11 25H2 ISO from the official Microsoft website.

Double click on it to mount it to a DVD drive.

Then go to DVD drive, double click on setup.exe to proceed.

Follow on-screen instructions to complete upgrade.

The error in your screenshot seems to be generated by TrendMicro software, if you have that installed on your PC, uninstall it, then restart (not shut down) your PC to apply the change.

You indicate a problem with Windows 11 25H2, are you trying to install that update and it is not getting installed successfully, if so, what method are you using for the update.

Click your Start Button, type winver and hit Enter

Please provide a screenshot of the resulting dialog.
