i used the wrong email address when trying to activate office 365

i was using a new product key to renew my office 365 but i used the wrong email address to activate it

now it wont allow me to activate the office saying that i need to use the original email address

please advise how i can change this.

To add to the above, if this is for Microsoft 365 there is no product key involved as it is tied to the account where you have purchased the subscription. Have you already checked and confirmed that the subscription is really not present on your account when you login at account.microsoft.com/services from a browser?
