how can i fix my word microsoft it says repair now but while i click it dosent do anythinng it comes like the picture down

Based on the error messages, it looks like you're encountering an issue where Word won’t open, and when you try to click “Repair Now”, nothing happens. This usually happens especially when Word crashes multiple times or fails to launch.  

Here are a few steps you can try to fix this issue:  

1. Restart your computer  

Sometimes a simple restart can resolve app launch issues.  

2. Check Task Manager  

Make sure Word isn’t already running in the background:  

• Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.  
• Look for Word under “Processes”.  
• If found, right-click and choose End Task, then try opening Word again.  

  

3_._  Start Word in Safe Mode 

• Press Win + R, type: winword /safe  
• If Excel opens in Safe Mode, disable add-ins: File > Options > Add-ins > Manage COM Add-ins > Uncheck all > OK.   
• Restart Word normally.   

 

4. Manually repair your Word App from Control Panel 

• Close all office apps completely.   
• Go to Control Panel > Program > Programs and Features   
• Right click on the Microsoft Office you've installed > Change.   

• Select Quick Repair first (fast and doesn’t require internet).   
• If the issue persists, run Online Repair (requires internet and takes longer).   

 

5. Check for Windows or Office updates  

• Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.  
•  Windows Update and install any pending updates.  
• Open Word go to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
