All the parts of Office fail to open. And I get the message of that they quit unexpectedly.

I was unable to start Word. I just bought Office 365, and it was installed and reinstalled successfully.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your question, I understand how frustrating it is to purchase Microsoft Office, only to have Word and the other apps quit unexpectedly as soon as you try to open them. This usually occurs when Office has incomplete installation files, outdated components that conflict with macOS updates, or corrupted preference files that prevent the applications from launching properly.

To resolve this, you can quit all Office apps and restart your Mac, then update Office through the Microsoft AutoUpdate tool to ensure the newest patches are installed. If the apps still quit, removing the Office preference files from your user Library folder and reinstalling Office from your Microsoft 365 account often restores normal functionality. Ensuring your macOS version is compatible with the version of Office you installed can also help prevent repeated crashes. If the issue persists, using the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Mac can repair damaged components and allow the apps to launch correctly.

Before moving forward, may I ask which version of macOS you are running on your Mac in Tahoe, and whether Word crashes immediately upon opening or only after a few seconds? I’m here to continue helping, so please feel free to follow up with any details you see on your screen and we can work through the next steps together.”

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

The tech asked me to remove all Licenses and reinstall Office 365, which was done successfully with a green checkmark. Still the same error message reappears.
