When I try to download roblox, it will say "Retry", so I click it. It will spin and say "Pending" then "Acquiring License" then it will say "retry" again. Under the retry button it says "there has been an error, See details" Ill click "see Details" and it says a error code. Code: 0xC0EA000A is the code. I tried researching but it never worked. How do I fix this?

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    Please clarify the following:

    • Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If yes, which one?
    • Do you have any VPN software installed? (Even if it's not running at the moment) If yes, which one?

Also. What is the version and "OS Build" of your Windows?

    • Press "Windows + R", type winver, and click OK.

If you prefer, share a screenshot. Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

Be sure to censor your email address if it appears. The Microsoft Q&A is public.

    I await your reply.

Error 0xC0EA000A is a Microsoft Store licensing error that occurs when the Store cannot correctly acquire or validate the license for an app like Roblox.

Use these steps to fix it:

    1. Make sure the correct Microsoft account is signed in
      • Open Microsoft Store.
      • Select your profile icon and confirm that the account used to get Roblox is signed in.
      • If not, sign out and sign back in with the correct account.
    2. Check that the device is online
      • Ensure the network connection is stable and not blocked by a VPN, proxy, or restrictive firewall.
    3. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      • Press Windows key + R.
      • Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      • A blank Command Prompt window opens, then closes; Microsoft Store will reopen automatically.
      • Try downloading Roblox again.
    4. Run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter (Windows 10/11)
      • Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
      • Select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.
      • Apply any fixes it suggests, then retry the download.
    5. Check for Windows and Store updates
      • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates and install any available updates.
      • Open Microsoft Store, select See more (⋯) > Downloads and updates > Get updates to update the Store itself.
    6. Repair or reset Microsoft Store (Windows 10/11)
      • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & features).
      • Find Microsoft Store, select Advanced options.
      • First try Repair. If that does not help, use Reset.
      • Open Microsoft Store again and try installing Roblox.

If the error persists after these steps, it is likely a Store-side licensing issue for that app on that account or device, and contacting Microsoft Support with the error code and account details is recommended.
