Bookings Not Fully Appearing Outlook

2026-02-27T16:14:10.4533333+00:00

We use Bookings for Parent/Teacher conferences twice a year. When I used this in the Fall, the Bookings went directly on the Outlook calendar. It included the additional information we had on the Bookings.

NOW, however, the 3 additional information questions DO NOT appear on the Outlook calendar. It doesn't show any real information but the name of the parent. (The additional information identify the student).

How do we get the "additional information" to show again on the Outlook calendar for each teacher? This is vitally important.

When you open the same appointment in the Bookings calendar (not Outlook), do you see the 3 answers there?

Yes - I see them in Bookings. I have no idea if my teachers can because I'm the one who created the shared Bookings

Is the service set to 1:1 (one parent per time slot), or can more than one parent book the same time slot (group/multi‑attendee)? If it is group/multi‑attendee, Outlook may show a more “generic” event and not show the custom answers.

The service is set to 1:1. I've done this process successfully for 3 years and suddenly it doesn't work NOW.

Are the teachers added as Staff in Bookings, and are they assigned to this service?

Yes. I create a service within the Bookings for each department, add staff, and assigned them to this service.

Which Outlook app are teachers using (Outlook on the web, Outlook for Windows, or mobile), and is it missing in all of them?

To be fair, I only use Outlook on the web and did not test with Outlook for Windows. I just checked on the Mobile and it also doesn't provide the information.

Dear @Roberta Barber (Tucker High School),
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand you use Microsoft Bookings for parent/teacher conferences. In the Fall, when a parent booked a time, the teacher’s Outlook calendar entry showed the parent name and the 3 extra answers (student details). Now, the Outlook calendar entry shows only the parent name, and the 3 answers are missing.

To better assistance, could you please confirm following information:

Your detailed response will help us diagnose and investigate the issue more efficiently.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. If I misunderstood what you’re looking for, feel free to let me know or share a screenshot. I’d be happy to help further!

I'm looking forward for your reply. Thank you for your cooperation.
