APL scoring not working?

Question

Is it typical for the site to malfunction during APL completion and lab submission, resulting in a negative score even after confirming all steps were finished?

It appears that APL learnings might not fully reflect users’ abilities with the required technology.

This issue is discouraging, as following the study guides and practicing in developer tenants should lead to accurate results, but unexpected scores occur even when tasks are completed as part of my regular work.
