Azure Portal keeps showing "Error displaying your content" for most actions or shows the loading animation without loading

Question

I have been having problems with the Azure portal for at least a week now. The blades frequently fail to load, and when performing the "Self-Diagnostics" it either passes completely, or the "Verify connectivity to Azure domains" will fail. But then without doing anything, it will randomly start working again.

I only seem to be having issues with Microsoft sites. This includes the Azure portal as well as the Azure Maps Samples site (https://samples.azuremaps.com/), and the Microsoft Learn site (https://learn.microsoft.com/).

Is there something going on with the service or is this just me?

Hi Zachary,

It seems your local Firewall appliance or Proxy server is blocking access to the Azure sites, there are list of URLs and Services that require interrupted access to the Azure Portal.

Please check here and allow access to the listed URLs - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/azure-portal-safelist-urls?tabs=public-cloud
