Poshmark’s verification emails are being blocked or filtered before they reach the inbox. The following checks in the Microsoft account and Outlook.com typically resolve this:
- Check junk/spam and other folders
- Look in Junk, Spam, Clutter/Other, and any custom folders for the Poshmark verification email.
- Verification codes from Microsoft services come from
@accountprotection.microsoft.com, but for Poshmark the sender will be different; still, the same junk filtering rules apply.
- Make sure the sender isn’t blocked
- If using Outlook.com or Outlook on the web:
- Sign in to Outlook.com.
- Select Settings > Mail (or Options).
- Go to Blocked senders or Block and allow.
- If the Poshmark sender address or its domain is listed, select it and remove it.
- If using Outlook.com or Outlook on the web:
- Mark the sender as allowed/safe
- In Outlook.com/Outlook on the web, after finding a Poshmark email (even in Junk), mark it as Not junk and add the sender to safe or trusted senders so future codes go to the inbox.
- Check mailbox and cloud storage are not full
- If Outlook.com or Microsoft cloud storage is full, new messages (including verification codes) are bounced and never delivered.
- Check mailbox storage and delete or archive items if near or over quota.
- Confirm the email address Poshmark is using
- Make sure Poshmark is sending to the correct email address (no typos, no old alias).
- If Poshmark allows changing the login email, try another email address that is working normally.
- If the Microsoft account is blocked or has sign-in issues
- If there are problems signing in to Outlook.com or the account is blocked due to unusual activity, use the Sign-in Helper and follow the unblock steps. A blocked Microsoft account can prevent receiving any mail.
If, after unblocking senders, checking storage, and confirming the address, Poshmark emails still do not arrive, contact Poshmark support from a different working email and ask them to confirm that messages to this Microsoft address are not being suppressed on their side.
