    Hi Salil Pradhan

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand how important this missing email is, especially since it contains medication charts.

Please make sure you have already tried all Q&A Assist suggestions. In addition, please try the following:

    1. Check whether the email was moved by a rule
    • On Outlook on the web (using a PC browser or mobile with desktop view), go to Settings > Mail > Rules
    • Review all rules and check whether any rule may have moved or deleted messages with this subject.
    1. Search all mail folders
    • Still on Outlook on the web, use the full search query: subject:CMA AND received:2026-02-09..2026-02-10
    • Then select All folders or Expand search.

To let me guide you better, could you please confirm whether you are using a personal Outlook.com account or a work/school Microsoft 365 account?

Looking forward to your reply so I can guide you further. Thank you for your understanding.

Follow these steps in Outlook to try to locate or recover the missing email.

    1. Check Focused/Other (mobile and web)
    • If Focused Inbox is on, the message may be under the Other tab instead of Focused.
    • In Outlook mobile (iOS/Android) or a browser:
      • Go to your Inbox.
      • Switch to the Other tab and look for the email with subject "CMA" dated 9 Feb 2026.
      • If found, select it and choose Move to > Move to Focused inbox (or equivalent option) so future similar messages go to Focused.
    1. Check Junk/Spam and move if found
    • In Outlook mobile or Mail app:
      • Open the Junk Email folder (you may need to tap More to see all folders).
      • If the message is there, press and hold/right‑click it and choose Move to Inbox.
    1. Check Deleted Items
    • In Outlook.com or Outlook on the web:
      • Open the Deleted Items folder.
      • If the message is there, select it and choose Restore or Move > Inbox.
    • In Outlook mobile:
      • Open Deleted Items, select the message (if present), then Move to folder > Inbox.
    1. Recover from “Recoverable Items” (if already removed from Deleted Items) Use a PC or Mac; this cannot be done from mobile apps.
    • Outlook.com / Outlook on the web:
      1. In the left pane, select Deleted Items.
      2. At the top of the message list, select Recover items deleted from this folder.
      3. Look for the email (by date and subject) and select it.
      4. Select Restore. It will go back to its original folder (usually Inbox).
    • New Outlook for Windows:
      1. Select the Deleted Items folder.
      2. Select Recover items deleted from this folder.
      3. Select the message and choose Restore.
    • Classic Outlook (desktop):
      1. Go to the Deleted Items folder.
      2. On the Home tab, select Recover Deleted Items From Server.
      3. Find and select the message, choose Restore Selected Items, then OK.
    1. Time limits and when recovery is not possible
    • Items stay in Deleted Items for about 30 days in Outlook.com/Outlook on the web.
    • After removal from Deleted Items, they are usually recoverable from Recoverable Items for another limited period (commonly up to 30 days, depending on service/policy).
    • If the email does not appear in Deleted Items or Recoverable Items, it is likely permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Because the email contains medication charts, also check whether the sender can re‑send the message and attachments if it cannot be recovered via the steps above.
