Could you please advice how to fix this problem; they system keeps asking me to purchase Microsoft Office, I already bought the product from a computer store (it suppose to be one time off purchase), and I am using it fine. But still the windows asks me to subscribe or buy it (again).

Which specific Office product did you purchase? Office Home & Business 2024? Or something else?

Also, where do you see the "tip" to get Microsoft 365? Could you show us a screen shot of the context?

    Hi Mary,

There are two versions of Microsoft Office:

    1. Standalone which you purchased.
    2. A subscription known by the name of Microsoft 365.

I think Microsoft 365 might be installed, which is why it is preventing activation of the former. Let us remove all Office versions and reinstall Office standalone.

Here is how to use it:

How to uninstall Microsoft Office using SARA tool

Get Help has the Microsoft 365 SARA tool open

    • The tool will automatically detect your Office version and remove Microsoft 365 completely using a PowerShell window. It may take 10 to 15 minutes.
    • Once done, restart your PC.
    • You can then reinstall Microsoft Office from https://account.microsoft.com/services page and sign in.

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Otherwise, please take a moment to rate the answer. Wishing you good luck!
