error in importing onenote

i have downloaded onenote in windows and trying to import it in my mac but its not allowing it in mac what i can do ?

Importing full OneNote notebooks into OneNote for Mac using the old “notebook importer” flow is no longer supported.

1. Export/import of full notebooks is deprecated
   • The previous method of exporting a notebook from OneNote for the web and then importing it (for example, to another device or account) is now deprecated.
   • The documented import steps using the OneNote Notebook Importer are no longer the recommended or supported way to move notebooks between devices.
2. How to access notes on Mac instead
   • To use the same notebook on Windows and Mac, store the notebook in the cloud (OneDrive or OneDrive for work/school, or SharePoint if applicable) and then open it directly in OneNote for Mac by signing in with the same account.
   • Once signed in on the Mac, OneNote will sync the notebook from the cloud; no manual “import” is required.
3. If only a static copy is needed
   • If the goal is just to reuse or view content (not keep it as a live, syncing notebook), export pages or sections from Windows as PDF and open those PDFs on the Mac. See the guidance to Export notes from OneNote as a PDF referenced in the export/import article.
4. If the question is about a downloaded notebook ZIP
   • The ZIP produced by “Export notebook” on OneNote for the web is meant for backup or moving between accounts, but the import functionality described in the article is deprecated. That ZIP cannot be imported into OneNote for Mac as a full, live notebook anymore.
   • Instead, open the original notebook from its online location (OneDrive/SharePoint) on the Mac.
