wont let me play minecraft

so i bought minecraft about 4 years ago and now it wont let me play at all anytime i try to get on it.

Try these steps in order to get Minecraft working again:

1. Make sure Microsoft Store works

• Open Microsoft Store from Start.
• If it does not open, reset its cache:
  • Press Windows key + R → type wsreset.exe → OK.
  • A blank window opens, then Store should relaunch automatically.
• If Store still will not open, follow the guidance in Microsoft Store doesn't open to check Windows Update and time/region settings.

2. Check that the game is still in the account

• Open Microsoft Store.
• Select your profile picture → My Library.
• Look for Minecraft in the list.
  • If it shows a Download icon, select it to reinstall.
  • If it does not appear at all, it may be on a different Microsoft account than the one currently signed in.

3. Confirm device and account are authorized

• In Microsoft Store, make sure sign‑in is with the same Microsoft account used when Minecraft was purchased.
• Ensure the PC is added to that Microsoft account as a device (see Add a device to your Microsoft account from the Store help if needed).

4. If Minecraft will not install or open from Store

• Restart the PC, then try again.
• If downloads/updates are stuck or do not start, follow the Store troubleshooting steps:
