    Hi @Austin Choquette

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m really sorry you’ve been running into trouble sharing your mailbox. I know how important it is to keep your email accessible to the right people.

To get a clearer picture and guide you accurately, I’d like to get a better sense of what’s happening on your side. When you mentioned that your main Microsoft 365 email cannot be shared with “other emails attached to it,” this can point to a few different scenarios. Understanding which one fits your situation will allow me to guide you with the exact steps you need.

To narrow things down, could you let me know which of these options matches your case?

    • Sharing the entire mailbox with another user
    • Sharing specific folders (such as your Inbox, Sent Items, or custom folders)
    • Allowing someone to send emails on your behalf or as you
    • Accessing or sharing a shared mailbox
    • Using Microsoft 365 directly from Microsoft or through a provider like GoDaddy

Each scenario works a little differently, and once I know which one applies, I can walk you through the right solution.

If you prefer speaking with someone directly, you also have the option to request a call from Microsoft Support. To do this, please do these steps, a support agent will reach out to you directly:

    1. Sign in at Microsoft 365 admin center
    2. Go to Support > Create a support request
    3. Select Request a call

However, if your Microsoft 365 subscription is managed through GoDaddy, certain mailbox-sharing features are handled differently. In that case, you can reach GoDaddy’s 24/7 Microsoft 365 support team here: GoDaddy Global Support | Contact Us - GoDaddy

The issue description is too general to identify a specific configuration or known problem in the provided context. However, for problems sharing content (files, folders, or subscriptions) in Microsoft 365, the following supported guidance applies:

    1. If the problem is sharing OneDrive files or folders (for example, from Outlook.com or a Microsoft account):
      • Validate the Microsoft account at https://account.live.com/reputationcheck.
      • Ensure the Microsoft account profile is complete and that the Terms of Use have been accepted.
      • In Outlook.com, go to People, open any contact, edit any field (add/change/delete), and Save. It can take up to 24 hours for sharing issues to be resolved after this.
    2. If the problem is sharing OneDrive storage from a Microsoft 365 Family or Premium subscription:
      • Do not use a product key to share the subscription. Use the documented sharing process instead.
      • Verify each invited person has accepted the sharing invitation.
      • After acceptance, it can take up to 2 hours for OneDrive storage to update; use Manage storage and refresh the page to confirm.
    3. If the problem is general Outlook.com or Microsoft account behavior (sending, receiving, or sharing):
      • Use Outlook.com in a browser, select Help on the menu bar, enter the issue, and if self-help does not resolve it, scroll to Still need help? and choose Yes to contact support.
      • If sign-in is not possible, use the dedicated “can’t sign in” support entry point from the Outlook.com help page.
      • For broader Microsoft account and subscription issues, use the Account & Billing Help and general Microsoft support entry points provided in the Outlook.com help articles.
    4. If direct, real-time assistance is required (phone or live support):
      • Use the official Microsoft support contact channels listed in the customer service phone numbers article to reach a support agent.

For a more precise solution, identify whether the “shared emails” are:

    • OneDrive/SharePoint links sent by email,
    • Shared mailboxes or delegated mailboxes,
    • Or Microsoft 365 subscription/OneDrive storage sharing, then follow the corresponding steps above and, if unresolved, escalate through the Outlook.com or Microsoft account support flows.
