Microsoft 365 premium + Linkedin Premium student promotional offer

I have signed up for Microsoft 365 and verified it with my Canadian university email, and even got confirmation of purchase (for $0.00, renewed in 2027). It's been 10 days since I've signed up for Microsoft premium (Feb 18, 2026), and have not received any email regarding confirming my LinkedIn Premium Career offer despite checking my personal and school email, with their spam inboxes respectively.

How can I fix this?

    Dear @David Raicu,

Good day. Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum!

I understand how frustrating it can be when you have completed the Microsoft 365 Premium student sign‑up successfully but have not yet received the LinkedIn Premium Career activation email.

For the 12‑month Microsoft 365 Premium and LinkedIn Premium Career student offer, eligibility is verified automatically using your official college or university email address.

At this stage, I kindly recommend the following:

    1. Please make sure you are signing up using your official school email address (for example, @university.edu), not an alias or forwarding address.
    2. If you have an active or recently cancelled LinkedIn Premium subscription, please wait until the billing cycle has fully ended before retrying the offer.
    3. If your school email is valid and active but verification still fails, the best next step is to contact Support directly so they can review your eligibility manually, as this verification is handled on the LinkedIn side.

In this situation, as the LinkedIn Premium Career activation email is sent separately and may require backend verification, I kindly recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly. The support team will be able to review your subscription status in more detail and verify whether the LinkedIn Premium entitlement has been correctly provisioned for your account.

Here’s how you can raise a support request ticket to the billing team:

    • Open the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, then click Help & Support located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
    • In the search bar, type “Regarding confirming my LinkedIn Premium Career offer” > Enter > scroll down, and click on "Get Help" > "Contact support".
    • Choose your preferred contact method, fill in the required details, and then click Contact Me to submit your request.
    • Then explain that you have not received the LinkedIn Premium Career activation email after signing up for the student promotional offer.

Note: If you are a user, please kindly contact your IT admin to do these steps.

Additionally, you may also contact LinkedIn Support to confirm whether the activation email has been issued from LinkedIn’s side and to check the status of your LinkedIn Premium Career eligibility.

I truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please feel free to reply below if you have any update or further concern. I’ll be happy to assist further!

Based on similar student Microsoft 365 + LinkedIn Premium offer issues, the most effective steps are:

    1. Check all mailboxes from a desktop browser
In a similar case, the LinkedIn Premium offer email did not appear in the mobile Gmail app but was visible when checking the same mailbox from a Mac/desktop browser. Sign in to both the personal and school email accounts used during signup from a desktop browser and re-check Inbox, Promotions, Updates, and Junk/Spam folders.
    2. Verify the correct email account was used
Ensure the account where the offer should arrive is the same one used to:
      • Redeem the Microsoft 365 student offer
      • Verify the university email address
    3. Look specifically for the promotion/offer email
Use search in the mailbox (from a desktop browser) with terms like LinkedIn, Premium, or Microsoft 365 to locate the offer message.
    4. If still missing, contact official support
Since the subscription is already active and confirmed at $0.00, and more than the expected waiting period has passed, the next step is direct support:
      • For Microsoft 365 account/subscription issues, use the Microsoft 365 support options listed under Account & Billing Help and Microsoft 365 customer service.
      • Clearly mention: date of activation (Feb 18, 2026), university verification, and that the LinkedIn Premium Career email has not arrived after 10+ days.

Support can check eligibility, confirm whether the LinkedIn offer was generated, and resend or correct the promotion if applicable.
