So, before the upgrade, you were running on Pro license, but after upgrade, it turns into Home edition??

How did you obtain your PRO license initially?

Did it come with the device preinstalled, or did you purchase it?

If you purchased it, did you purchase from Microsoft, or from third party?

Is it originally a Win7/8 key?

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

    slmgr /dlv

Then share a screenshot please. Thanks!

To speak with a Microsoft support agent and get help with Windows 11 activation, use one of these options:

    1. On the Windows 11 PC
      1. Select Start and type Get Help.
      2. Open the Get Help app.
      3. Type a short description like Windows 11 activation problem after upgrade.
      4. When the virtual assistant responds, type Chat with an agent.
      5. Select Contact support at the bottom.
      6. Choose Windows as the product and the appropriate category (e.g., Windows 11 / Activation).
      7. Follow the prompts to connect to a live agent via chat or call me back.
    2. From a browser (if needed)
      1. Go to the Microsoft Support site.
      2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used on the Windows 11 device.
      3. Choose Contact support.
      4. Select the product (Windows) and category (Windows 11 activation) and then choose a support option (chat or callback).

While waiting to speak to support, basic activation troubleshooting steps for Windows 11 include:

    1. Confirm Windows 11 is installed and up to date
      • Press Windows key + R, type winver, and press Enter to confirm the version.
      • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all available updates. For more details, see Windows Update: FAQ.
    2. Run the Activation troubleshooter
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Activation.
      • If Windows is not activated, a Troubleshoot option appears. Select it to run the Activation troubleshooter.
      • The troubleshooter can automatically fix some activation issues. For more detail, see Using the Windows Activation troubleshooter.
    3. If errors persist
      • Follow the steps in Get help with Windows activation errors, which explains common error codes and how to resolve them.
      • If the error code is not listed or the steps do not work, continue with the Get Help app path above to reach a live agent.

If the previous Windows 10 Pro license was a free or promotional upgrade and is no longer eligible for transfer, support may advise that a new Windows 11 Pro license is required.
