    Hi chad diallo

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that your personal Microsoft account was compromised and the primary email address was changed. I'm really sorry you're going through this.

Please kindly note that this is a public user-to-user forum, I do not have the ability, tools to unblock, recover accounts or bypass security. Only Microsoft’s official recovery process can restore access.

Could you confirm whether you’ve tried the steps mentioned in the Q&A Assist reply under your post? If yes, did you face any difficulties with those steps?

Also, please let me know if you've tried submitting the Microsoft Account Recovery form (ACSR)?

In addition, please also try to fill out this official Xbox recovery form as well: Recover your Microsoft account - Xbox Support

This form may be more effective for accounts with Xbox subscriptions. When completing the form, provide as much detail as possible. The more information you can give, the better the support team can verify ownership and restore access.

    Contact Microsoft Support directly

If you can't sign in at all, please reach out to Microsoft Support team directly for further assistance. For personal account/product, it mainly offers live chat and, depending on your subscription/region, an option to request a callback:

    • Go to Contact - Microsoft Support
    • In the search box, type the issue keyword related to Microsoft account recovery or compromised account.
    • Click "Get Help", then scroll to the bottom and select "Contact Support”.
    • When prompted to select Products & Services, select "Other Products"; Under Category, select "Manage account security".
    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" (during business hours) or a similar callback option (if available). Explain your situation clearly. User's image

I truly appreciate your precious time and understanding. Please feel free to let me know how it goes.

Because the email and password were changed by the attacker, only the official automated recovery process can be used; no one on a forum or support can manually restore access or bypass security.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Run through the hacked-account recovery guide Use the official steps for compromised accounts: How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account.
      • First, scan all PCs/phones used with this account for malware and clean them (otherwise the hacker can just steal the new password again).
      • After that, proceed to password reset/recovery.
    2. Try normal password reset/sign‑in help Since the sign-in now says the account doesn’t exist or shows a different email:
      • Go to the Microsoft account sign-in page and enter the email you believe is the correct one. If you see a password prompt, that address is still a Microsoft account. If you see “We couldn't find an account with that username” or “That Microsoft account doesn't exist,” follow the guidance in How to check if your email address is a Microsoft account.
      • If the email is still recognized, use Forgot password? and follow the reset flow as described in I can't sign in to my Microsoft account.
    3. Use the Sign‑in Helper if normal reset fails If the reset options don’t work or you don’t recognize the security info shown, use the Sign‑in Helper tool referenced in:
    4. Fill out the Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR) If you cannot get in with normal reset and Sign‑in Helper, use the account recovery form:
      • Make sure there is a working alternate email that can receive messages about the recovery request (this can be any active email, including a new Outlook.com address). See Step 1 in Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
      • Complete the form from a device and location previously used with the account (home PC, usual network) as recommended in Step 3 of the same article.
      • Before filling it out, gather as much information as possible about the account (old passwords, contacts, email subjects, Xbox/Minecraft usage, etc.) as described in Step 2 of that article. The more accurate detail provided, the better the chance of success.
      • Submit the form and wait for the response (typically within 24 hours). If denied, adjust answers with more detail and resubmit (up to the allowed frequency).
    5. If the form says the account doesn’t exist If the recovery form or sign-in shows “The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist”:
    6. If recovery ultimately fails
      • For Minecraft access specifically, contact Minecraft Support separately (as suggested in the Q&A context) to see if they can help with game entitlements even if the Microsoft account cannot be recovered.
      • For any future accounts, enable two-step verification and keep multiple up-to-date recovery methods to reduce the risk of permanent loss.
