I need to speak to someone about renewing my subscription. The bot questions are ridiculous. I've tried several times. Please connect me a human support representative

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Did you receive any error messages when you try to renew your Microsoft 365 subscription? If so what it is?
    2. Was your Microsoft 365 subscription originally purchased in a different country or region?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

To get help from a human support representative for renewing and updating the payment option on a Microsoft 365 subscription, use one of these supported paths:

    1. Use the Microsoft Support “Contact us” flow (chat or call)
      1. Go to the main support entry point: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/
      2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that has the subscription.
      3. In the search box, type something like “Chat with an agent” and press Enter.
      4. Select Contact support (or Get helpContact support if shown).
      5. Under Products & services, choose Microsoft 365 & Office (or the product that matches the subscription).
      6. For Category, choose something like Manage my subscription or Billing.
      7. Confirm, then choose either Chat with a support agent or Call me back to reach a human.
    2. If using Windows “Get Help” app
      1. Open the Get Help app from the Start menu.
      2. Type “Chat with an agent” and press Enter.
      3. Select Contact support at the bottom.
      4. Choose the product (for example, Microsoft 365) and follow the prompts.
      5. Select a support option (chat or call-back) to connect with a live agent.
    3. If the issue is specifically billing/overcharge or payment failures
      • For subscription payment or charge issues (including changing payment methods, duplicate charges, or unrecognized charges), the Billing team must review the account directly. Use the same Contact us flow above and be sure to select a billing-related category such as Manage my subscription or Billing & payments so the case routes to the correct team.

If accessibility or disability support is needed, technical assistance is also available through the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk; contact details for each region are listed on the Disability Answer Desk site.
