I want to contact Q&A user Marcin Policht. He answered my question about Open Files, and I want to thank him. I also want to chat with him about a product that I developed years ago for a platform called "VSE".
I expect that the answer is "NO", but perhaps one of the individuals who are responsible for supporting this excellent forum could contact Marcin privately on my behalf? I concede that this forum's mandate isn't personal chat.

I think that… u can’t reach folks directly on Q&A, the user-channel is hard‑blocked in the infra. best shot is a tiny note on the thread and keep it plain, cause the mod filter eats links fast. your thanks will still land, don’t worry.
