MCP ID/MC IDs have not been used since the merger of Certification profiles and Learn profiles in 2024. Your Learn username is now your unique ID.

To recover access related to an old MCP ID, support must be contacted through the official Microsoft Credentials support channel.

Use the Microsoft Credentials support page and open a support request so an agent can look up the MCP record and advise on next steps for linking it to a current Microsoft account or recovering access:

    • Go to the Microsoft Credentials support help page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/help
    • Follow the instructions there to submit a case, providing your MCP ID, approximate certification dates, and any email addresses that might have been associated with the MCP profile.

Only the official credentials support team can investigate and assist with legacy MCP IDs.
