REQUEST FOR RETURNING BLOCKED ACCOUNT

My Microsoft Teams account has been blocked twice due to one reason that I send more friend request than need on both cases. My professions demands reaching out new contacts everyday. However, I agree I shouldn't have violated the rules.

Inspite of requesting to Microft team several times, they are not returning my account. Its my 30 years of hardwork in shipping that I have made connections since the time of Skype. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me unblock my account.

Microsoft Teams account blocks and reinstatement cannot be handled by community users and cannot be overridden outside of Microsoft’s official processes.

For blocked or suspended Microsoft consumer accounts (including those used with Outlook.com, Skype, and some Teams scenarios), only the official recovery and unblock flows can be used:

    1. If the Microsoft account itself is locked or suspended
      • If sign-in shows that the Microsoft account has been locked or temporarily suspended, follow the guidance in Microsoft account has been locked. When prompted, use the link in the sign-in window that begins with aka.ms/ and complete the reinstatement form. A Microsoft Online Safety support agent will review the request and respond by email. Do not submit multiple forms in parallel, as this can slow down processing.
      • If the account is temporarily suspended for unusual activity or possible Terms of Use violations (for example, patterns that look like spam or abuse), review the reasons under Why is my Microsoft account temporarily suspended? and ensure future usage complies with the Microsoft Services Agreement.
    2. If the Outlook.com / Microsoft account is blocked due to unusual sign-in or usage
      • Use the Sign-in Helper referenced in Unblock my Outlook.com account to walk through unblocking steps. This tool is also referenced for accounts where the password is known but sign-in has stopped working.
      • If the account cannot be unblocked using the security code or password change, follow the guidance under If you can't unblock your account, which points to the When you can't sign in to your Microsoft account article for password reset and support-contact options.
    3. If sign-in fails or the account cannot be accessed at all
      • Use the Sign-in Helper tool described in I can't sign in to my Microsoft account when the password is correct but sign-in fails, or when the username is not recognized.
      • If recovery attempts fail, use the Account recovery unsuccessful guidance. The account recovery form can be retried up to two times per day. Before retrying, review the official guidance for filling out the recovery form to maximize the chance of success.
    4. If verification or security checks are blocking access
      • If a “Try another verification method” or similar block appears, follow the steps in Troubleshoot Microsoft verification code issues / Common problems with two-step verification for a work or school account:
        • Try another verification method already configured on the account (alternate email, SMS, etc.).
        • Try another network (switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data, or use a different Wi‑Fi network).
        • Wait at least 24 hours without repeated attempts; if still blocked, wait longer (up to a week) before trying again.
        • Use the sign-in helper link provided in that article for additional troubleshooting.
    5. If previous recovery attempts were declined
      • Follow Account recovery unsuccessful: review the guidance for filling out the recovery form carefully, then submit again with as much accurate historical information as possible (old passwords, contacts, subject lines, billing details, etc.). This can be done up to twice per day.

Community forums and general support channels cannot directly unblock or override enforcement on an account, and support agents are not allowed to bypass security or send custom reset links outside of the documented flows. All reinstatement must go through the official Microsoft account recovery, unblock, and sign-in helper processes referenced above.
