I am facing an issue while registering for the DP-900 exam. On the “Transfer to Pearson VUE” page, after entering my address and contact details and clicking the Submit button, the page redirects to an "Unexpected error" screen displaying the message code: ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK.

I was previously able to proceed from the same laptop without any issue. However, the problem has started recently. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

Signed out and signed back into my Microsoft account

Cleared browser cache and cookies

Tried Incognito mode

Tried different browsers

Verified that my address and country details are correct

Despite these steps, the issue persists when clicking Submit.

Kindly advise on the next steps to resolve this issue.

ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK indicates that the Pearson VUE account is blocked on Pearson VUE’s side, typically due to multiple failed payment attempts. This block prevents transfers from the Microsoft exam registration page to Pearson VUE and cannot be fixed by changing browsers, clearing cache, or adjusting Microsoft Learn settings.

To resolve the issue, the next step is to contact Pearson VUE support and request that they review and remove the block on the Pearson VUE account. Use the Pearson VUE contact path linked from the Microsoft Certification support page at https://aka.ms/CertificationSupport and explain that the registration fails with ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK when transferring from Microsoft to Pearson VUE.

Once Pearson VUE removes the block, retry the DP-900 registration from the Microsoft Certification dashboard and proceed with the transfer to Pearson VUE again.
