Use the Microsoft certification tools rather than Pearson VUE directly to resolve this.

    1. Try rescheduling from the Certification Dashboard / Learn profile
      • Go to the Microsoft Certification Dashboard / Learn profile.
      • From your profile, open your scheduled exam (DP-700) appointment.
      • Use the option there to reschedule or cancel the appointment. The dashboard integrates with Pearson VUE and is the supported place to manage appointments.
    2. Check timing against the reschedule policy
      • Exams must be rescheduled or cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. If the system shows the exam as locked or does not allow changes, it may be because it is inside the 24‑hour window, in which case the fee is forfeited and the appointment cannot be changed.
      • More details are in the exam cancellation and reschedule policy.
    3. If the dashboard still shows an error or will not allow changes
      • Open a support request with Microsoft Credentials Support / Training, Certification, and Program Support and provide:
        • Exam: DP-700
        • Scheduled date/time and time zone
        • Description of what happens when trying to reschedule (error messages, screenshots if possible)
      • Use the Certification Support / Credentials Support entry point so the Learn/Cert team can investigate issues between the dashboard and Pearson VUE.
    4. If Pearson VUE has blocked the account
      • If any error mentions a Pearson VUE–wide block (for example after multiple failed payments), only Pearson VUE can remove that block. In that case, continue working with Pearson VUE Customer Support until the block is lifted, then reschedule again via the Certification Dashboard.

If the exam time is very close (within 24 hours) and the system does not allow rescheduling, a new registration may be required after the scheduled time passes.
